Support program for contemporary educational needs

In 2004, our program was highly appraised and adopted as "Support program for contemporary educational needs", also called "Gendai GP" (Good Practice) for short by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

This program started in 2004, and in that year 86 schools out of 559 entries from all over Japan (including 5 schools in Hokkaido) were chosen and received grants to continue outstanding efforts toward education theme of High Social Needs.

Two of our programs (as Gendai GP 1 and GP6) were chosen at the same time, which is unusual, only five schools in Japan have gotten double awards.

And again in 2007, another program was chosen as Gendai GP6 by the Ministry.
In 2007, 119 schools (including 4 schools in Hokkaido) out of 600 entries to Gendai GP were chosen and our program for GP6 was chosen as one of 20 excellent programs out of 100 entries.
