Graduate school of Photonics Science

Advance the frontiers as a professional researcher.

image CIST Graduate School was established in April, 2002.
In 2002, we opened a Master's program and in 2004, we opened a Doctor's program, where we have been teaching students to be well-established in Photonics Science and take advantage of the specialized knowledge of that field.
We hope our Graduate School will lead a global science world with a noble spirit and pride in the future.

Educational ideal:

We cultivate human resources to develop and practice science technology for the prosperity of humankind and coexistence with the natural environment.

Our educational ideal is based on the school spirit, "Reflux flow of human knowledge" and "Cultivation of Character". We foster talented people capable of researching and developing on a global level, cooperating with other high level specialists and leading the group. Furthermore, we contribute to the development of society and culture through the theory of Photonics Science and applied education and research.
