This is a project which is advanced by the city of Chitose and an industry-university cooperation. We are planning to have a think tank of international photonics science by summoning laboratories and factories of enterprises together around our school, CIST. And it has been also promoted by an industry-university-government organization, Photonics World Consortium (PWC).
By founding a graduate school, we have had more advanced research functions and it enables us to have collaborative research more actively.
