General Information

Scope of Forum

Chitose Institute of Science and Technology (CIST) has organized the international forum/conference related to the photonics science and technology every year since 1998 when CIST was established. For example, 4th International Conference on Organic Nonlinear Optics (ICONO'4: 8th IKETANI Conference) in 1998, 1st Chitose International Forum on Photonics Science & Technology (CIF'1) in 1999, International Symposium on Optical Memory (ISOM2000 organized by ISOM) in 2000. This year CIF'7 will focus on the three subjects, (i) Photonic devices and systems, (ii) Biophotonics, (iii) Information and media technologies. Call for Papers

Poster presentations are available. Deadline of papers is October 27, 2006.
Extended abstract (A4 1-2 pages) must be submitted to CIF'7 Secretariat by October 27. Please e-Mail an electronic version in PC-compatible formats (MS Word format is strongly recommended; maximum: 2-pages including text, figures and tables in A4 size). Authors of accepted papers are requested to submit a full paper (A4 4-6 pages) for the proceedings. Proceedings will be published as a book edited by the Organizing Committee. Proceedings will be printed as Camera Ready Form, so the authors should follow the instructions for submission of CRC manuscript preparation.

Registration

Registration fees for CIF'7 are as follows: Active participants ¥10,000; students free. It covers the Reception and coffee breaks. Active participants can receive a copy of Proceedings. Please fill in the registration form and send to the Secretary General by October 27, 2006.
