This appointment is expected to enhance research capabilities and support global education and research activities based on international collaboration in the Graduate School.

Dr Supavadee, Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), has been researching basic image/video technology and developing systems for security and other applications in the field of digital signal processing, especially image information processing, for over 20 years. He has been actively involved in research on basic image/video technology and development of systems for security and other applications in the field of digital signal processing, especially image information processing. He is also a project member of AUN/SEED-Net, which has been supported by JICA for many years, Chairman of the Educational Activities Board (EAB) at IEEE Headquarters, and a member of various committees of Reason10, which covers the IEEE Asia region.
This appointment is expected to support research guidance in graduate school, global research activities and international collaborative research.
