International Conference on Business and Industrial Research (ICBIR2025) Held in Bangkok

 2025 the 10th International Conference on Business and Industrial Research , ICBIR2025, was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 22 to 24. Technical sessions took place on May 22 and 23 at the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI), one of our university’s international partner institutions.The conference was hosted by the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Thailand Chapter, Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI), and the Technology Promotion Association (TPA). Technical co-sponsors included the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and our university, among others. IEEE, headquartered in Pittsburgh, USA, is the world’s largest academic and professional organization, with over 400,000 members worldwide. Its fields of interest span a wide range, including information science, computer science, electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and big data.
 
 At the request of our partner institution, TNI, our university participated as a technical co-sponsor and supported the organization of the conference. A total of 191 papers were submitted from 12 countries, including Japan.

 After a rigorous peer-review process by the Technical Program Committee, 94 papers were accepted and presented during the conference.Following the opening session on the first morning, two keynote speeches were delivered:
  • “AI-Based Video Analytics” by Professor Supavadee Aramvith from Chulalongkorn University
  • “Eye-gaze-based Human-intention Detection” by Professor Kosin Chamnongthai from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)
Professor Supavadee Aramvith is currently serving as a visiting professor at our university and is also the chair of the IEEE Thailand Section.

 President Yoshikazu Miyanaga of our university served as one of the Honorary General Chairs of the conference. With over 200 participants, the conference was a great success.Please see below for photos taken on the first day of the event.
