Atsuyoshi Koike, CEO of Rapidus Corporation, Appointed as Visiting Professor at CIST

Following the appointment of Atsuyoshi Koike, CEO of Rapidus Corporation, as a Visiting Professor at Chitose Institute of Science and Technology (CIST), a formal appointment ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 18, at the Rapidus Corporation Analysis Center.

Ryuichi Yokota, Mayor of Chitose City, the founding body of the university, was also in attendance. Following the ceremony, the participants exchanged views on various topics.

Mr. Koike has extensive expertise in international collaboration and the development of the next generation of human resources, while leading Rapidus Corporation’s cutting-edge semiconductor development. By welcoming him as a Visiting Professor, CIST aims to further advance semiconductor education and research and promote the development of local industries.
